Unboxing/Review of a Belkin Wireless N Modem Router

UPDATE: Just a quick update I gave up with this router as the router continued to block access to my TS3 server for friends even with ports forwarded etc. However my friend is still using his version and not had issues but he is not hosting a TS3 Server. Therefore if you wish to host something stay away from this if not it should be ok! For the review check out my blog post at cloudbite.co.uk Follow me on Twitter twitter.com

how the hell is this a modem
dose it give you fast upload speed
@4321ba3g Hiya, Virgin Media uses Cable not a BT Connection and therefore requires a totally different sort of router. You need to get a cable compatible version. Have a look at this link netgear.co.uk/wirelessn_home.php it will show you routers by netgear that work with virgin.
ohh yh and it is called netgear wirelessn150 modem router
hey guys i am thinking of buying netgear dng1000 or 2000 and it says bt connection on the top.but i have virgin media modem. or can i but any dng router that will work
Thanks
@ps3fanboy1995 Hi mate, no it won’t you need a cable version of the router however I would steer clear of this model I’ve now thrown it away it’s awful if you want to forward connections for playing games running a server etc!
But for a virgin connection make sure it says Cable/DSL and not ADSL. Mark
I have a virgin media Internet connection
Will this work ?
Cheers Alex, Yeh Belkin’s do get hot the router has had no problems and has been on 24/7 for 10 days however it is warm!
Great unboxing Mark. That old O2 one is awful. Belkin modems are good.
Belkin Wireless Network cards are trouble though, they overheat and the drivers crash Windows.
