what are the signs that youre being hacked in your laptop that has a belkin router?
are most (but not all) of the people here in the united states that has laptops and computers experienced hacks and viruses?

    An experienced hacker won't leave signs. Inexperienced ones can be foiled…

    You can look at the security log on your router for an IP address from a remote site that keeps touching your router.

    Use NSLOOKUP at the DOS prompt. Type Set Type=PTR and then type in that IP address. It might tell you a domain it came from. You can go to that domain's web site and find a report abuse link where you can report the offender.

    Change the password on the router to a strong password 6 characters and three numbers that NOT contiguous to make it hard.

    Clear all spyware and virus from your computers. Make sure that the default OS firewall is enabled and you can even add a thirdparty firewall.

    Change all passwords on your computers often.
