Does my cable modem have router functionality?
I hear that some cable modems have built in wireless router functionality and that would help me so i wouldnt have to go buy one? how do i tell if the router has wireless functionality? heres what i know:
i got it from time warner cable, when they gave me broadband, and its made by Scientific Atlanta.
Sci Atl has been absorbed along with Linksys by Cisco.
They have a whole line of products.
You can look at the label and get a part number. Or simply look for the dead give away of an Antenna. If it is not wireless it will not have one.
