A router can connect up to 253 computers? If you do not have an extra port, install a switch or hub*. FYI: A switch is faster. You can pick up a used commercial switch or hub for about $20. I have a used 3Com Super Stacker 24 port switch. Used but works great**. I don't like or recommend wireless. Unless you are very careful every Jr. hacker in a thousand feet will be pecking at your LAN till they get access. I have recommended wireless it is just rare, and in most cases unnecessary.
