  1. If you are concerned about privacy and security everyone knows that corded is secure. If i were you i would sell or whatever your wireless cams. Frankly, I do not care what encryption you use, wireless is wireless. Any time there is a receiver involved, your data could be intercepted. The only exception i would make it wireless internet, you have a firewall and anti virus. Other wireless electronics there is not that protection, I HATE privacy invaders! hope this helps

  2. well in all its possible… but unless ur neighbor is one smart guy and i mean very very very smart for electrics they cant… oh they could if they was a hacker but again they would hav to be good and if u ever got proof of such u could report em and have em arrested
so all in all not unless they know there work well no

  3. Wireless devices use radio frequency to transmit the sound and vision to your receiver so if your neighbour has a similar unit or a multi band scanner than it is very possible he may intercept your discussions.

  4. It depends on the wireless encryption which you use on your wireless network. If you use no encryption at all and you have not set an username and password on your wireless cameras, the neighbours might indeed tap in. Make sure to use encryption on your wireless network first of all. Do not use WEP encryption, as it is not safe. WPA is not safe either anymore, so you will need to use WPA2 encryption. If your wireless router or wireless devices which connect to the router do not support WPA2, you will need to purchase a different wireless router or different wireless network cards for every device which connects wirelessly. Besides encryption on your wireless network, you will need to use an username and password on your wireless cameras. Also make sure that you are using the latest firmware on both your router, as well as on your wireless cameras.
